How to Find the Right Planetary Gear on MatexGears.com

Matex Gears is in the business of selling planetary gears. We have put a lot of thought into the website, trying to make this easy to get around in and something everyone would feel comfortable using. Let's take a look! 

Matex Gears: Website Navigation

The first section we see on the main navigation of our website (pictured left) is a menu item called 'Planetary Gears.' Under this dropdown menu, you'll find that our planetary come in three different materials. These materials include plastic, metal and steel gears.

Once you select a category, you'll land on a new page that offers different variations of that material planetary gear. On the left side, you're going to see ways you can search for that type of gear. You can break down your gear into nominal reduction ratios, maximum torque, dimensions, and so on and so forth. By offering this type of flexibility to the search, you're able to find the perfect planetary gear for your needs.

Our measurements are both in imperial and metric measurements (see photo on left under 'Narrow Results'). it's just it's very simple to switch back and forth between them depending on your preference. Once you enter into a product, for example the 45 and 300 inch pound torque range. Once you're into the product, you'll be able to see a complete list of gears within that torque range.

Everything You Need to Know About Your Planetary Gear

Once you move into a product, you’ll see you have all that you need to know. You don't have to dig and search for it. As you're going to see right here. We have pictures that we have dimensions, 

I think one of the important points here is also that you're going to see if you can download CAD and look at a 3D model. We offer many different CAD formats that you can use and you can download this right into your drawings. That's a huge benefit to be able to do that on the website and not have to worry about calling or getting an appointment or just running all those details. You're going to find out in a big hurry whether this is something that's going to work in your project or not. Absolutely and that's what we're trying to do. Make it easy.

The next one we're show is coupling or accessories which would be couplings join shafts output shafts and spacers a lot of our gears put together.
